Neville Ray, T-Mobile (NYSE: DT)’s senior VP of Engineering and Operations promises that we’ll be seeing more Android handsets this year, alongside a “significant number of HSPA-capable smart phones” and “a data card product” within “the coming weeks and months.” It would have been a little anticlimactic if T-Mobile stopped at the G1, huh? We’re still eyeballing Mobile World Congress to show off a bunch of new Android handsets, and it’s wholly possible the G2 (a.k.a HTC Sapphire) will be among them.
